Luhu Bamboo Sea Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The scenic area consists of Luhu Lake and the vast bamboo forests of Jishan and Ganci, located in the southern mountainous region of Guangde, about 10 kilometers from the county town. Luhu Lake covers an area of over 3,000 acres, surrounded by green mountains, with water that remains clear as a mirror year-round. The water winds through the hills, and the peaks are reflected in the lake. In spring and summer, the lakeside is ablaze with wildflowers, filling the air with fragrance; in autumn and winter, the shores are lush with verdant pines and bamboos, full of vitality.

Especially in May when the azaleas are in full bloom, the distant and nearby mountains are like colorful clouds descending to earth or wild fires blazing across green silk. The bamboo sea on Jishan and Ganci features undulating mountain ridges, deep valleys, lush green bamboo swaying like waves, and gurgling streams flowing joyfully amid shifting mists and ever-changing scenery. Luhu Lake and the bamboo-filled creeks offer picturesque views of clear mountains and green waters, creating a delightful harmony. Whether boating on the lake, fishing by the shore, hiking up the hills for a distant view, or strolling through the bamboo groves, visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature.
