Gaotang Shendun Site

The Gaotang Shendun Site is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

The Gaotang Shendun Site is located in Dafeng Village, Bizehu Township, Yixiu District, and dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

On November 30, 2010, the Gaotang Shendun Site was designated as one of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing.

Bizehu Township: Bizehu Township boasts a long history and rich cultural heritage. It is home to the Neolithic site Zhangsidun, where every brick and tile reflects the wisdom of prehistoric ancestors; Shenjiachong, the birthplace of a notable figure, where every blade of grass and tree marks the footsteps of its childhood. With the Yangtze River stretching out like a ribbon in the distance and Longshan Mountain standing nearby like a screen, residents by Shihu Lake are imbued with an air of grandeur. The township has abundant human resources, with over ten thousand people working or doing business outside the city each year — more than five thousand of them beyond the provincial border. Among them, there are over 30 individuals with assets exceeding ten million yuan, and 20 who have successfully started businesses back in their hometown.
