To allow Taipei residents to experience Malaysia’s diverse attractions and traditional culture all in one go, Tourism Malaysia will hold the “Wonderful Times in Malaysia – The Charm of Asia” series of events on March 17 (Sat) and March 18 (Sun) at the pedestrian zone of Xinyi Vidol Square in Taipei. The event will feature free rides on Malacca’s iconic trishaws, brought straight from Malaysia. In addition, distinguished guests from Malaysia will demonstrate traditional batik and beading art, inviting the public to join in the experience. Sarawak’s most beloved hornbill will also be there to entertain visitors of all ages.

The event will fully showcase Malaysia’s most famous attractions, featuring exciting stage performances, traditional batik and beading culture experiences, and free tastings of limited-edition Malaysian cuisine. Additionally, participants who collect enough stamps from the Malaysian challenge activities will have the chance to enter a lucky draw with prizes including Malaysian flight tickets and more.
