Explore Malaysia at Taipei's Shin Kong Mitsukoshi: Adventure, Prizes & Airline Ticket Draws

To allow Taipei residents to experience Malaysia’s diverse attractions and traditional culture in one go, the Malaysian Tourism Board will hold the “Malaysia: A Treasure Trove of Timeless Charm” series of events on March 17 (Sat) and March 18 (Sun) at the pedestrian zone of Taipei Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The event will feature free rides on the iconic trishaws of Malacca, live demonstrations of traditional Malaysian batik and beadwork by special guests from Malaysia, and appearances by Sarawak’s beloved hornbills to entertain visitors of all ages.

The event will showcase Malaysia’s most famous attractions, featuring exciting stage performances, hands-on experiences with traditional batik and beadwork, and free tastings of exclusive Malaysian delicacies. Additionally, participants who collect enough stamps from the Malaysia-themed challenges can enter a lucky draw with prizes including airline tickets to Malaysia and more.
