Tomb of Wang Zhiyi

The Tomb of Wang Zhiyi is a cultural heritage protection unit of Anqing City.

The Tomb of Wang Zhiyi is located at the Laoshan Community Residents' Committee, Luoling Town, Yixiu District, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On November 30, 2010, the Tomb of Wang Zhiyi was designated as part of the fourth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Luoling Town: Located at the southern end of Tongcheng City, Luoling Town is 28 kilometers from Anqing City. The Yang (qiao) Xin (du) Highway runs through the entire town, connecting to National Highway 206 to the north, bordering Huaining County to the west, and adjacent to the suburban area of Anqing City to the south. It is renowned as the “Land of Fish and Rice,” “Hometown of Huangmei Opera,” “Plastic Industry Hub,” and “Capital of Wontons.” During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was famous for the saying “Three Jinshi scholars within five li, two Zhuangyuan scholars across the river.” In modern times, it is the birthplace of the celebrated Huangmei opera performer Yan Fengying.
