East Lake Leisure & Entertainment Center

The East Lake Leisure & Entertainment Center is a national A-level tourist attraction.

Tongling City is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Development Zone, bordered by the Yangtze River to the north, connected to Huangshan and Jiuhua Mountains to the south, adjacent to Wuhu to the east, and neighboring the ancient city of Anqing to the west. It enjoys exceptionally favorable natural and geographical conditions. The East Lake Leisure & Entertainment Center is situated on the north side of Tongling’s riverside expressway, about 12 kilometers from the downtown area, offering very convenient transportation. The East Lake Leisure & Entertainment Center is invested in by Tongling Nonferrous Metals (Group) Co., Ltd.

The entire area of the “Center” covers 120.8 hectares, including 23.4 hectares dedicated to leisure and entertainment, 9.9 hectares for flowers and nurseries, 43.5 hectares for breeding bases, and 25.1 hectares for planting “new and special” products. Currently open to the public are a go-kart entertainment venue, horse racing track, field archery range, bumper boats, waterside restaurant, tennis courts, fishing center, and the “East Lake Hotel” with 30 guest rooms. Other facilities such as a golf club, fitness and entertainment center, entrance fountain tower, and swimming pool have completed their main structures and are awaiting final completion.

The Center is divided into an East Area and a North Area. The East Area serves as a base for aquaculture and the cultivation of “new and special” agricultural products, producing items such as cherry tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, and high-quality lotus roots. The annual aquatic production can reach 120,000 kilograms, with species including the four major domestic fishes as well as large tropical freshwater fish such as silver carp and tilapia. The North Area mainly consists of landscaping nurseries and a large-scale comprehensive modern leisure and entertainment project zone.
