Pan Tianshou's Former Residence is a Hangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a patriotic education base.

Pan Tianshou's Former Residence dates back to the Republican era and is located at No. 42, Lotus Pond Head.

The Pan Tianshou Memorial Pavilion (PanTianshouMemorialPavillion) is located at No. 212 Nanshan Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou. This was originally the late residence of Mr. Pan Tianshou. In 1981, the Ministry of Culture approved the establishment of the memorial and opened it to the public. In 1991, a modern new pavilion was added on the site of the original residence. It is a personally dedicated painter’s memorial museum under the administration of the Ministry of Culture and managed by the China Academy of Art. It serves multiple functions including commemoration, exhibition, collection, research, and education. On July 9, 2000, it was designated as a Hangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government. In 2000, it was recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial Patriotic Education Base by the Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, and in 2001, it was named a Hangzhou Municipal Patriotic Education Base by the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government. It is the headquarters of the Pan Tianshou Foundation and the permanent venue of the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Memorial Federation.

Protected area: The protected area includes Pan Tianshou's Former Residence, the Memorial Pavilion, and the garden grounds, covering a total area of 1,701 square meters.

Construction control zone: To the east, it extends approximately 50 meters beyond the protected area; to the south, about 30 meters beyond the protected area; to the west, it reaches the eastern red line of Nanshan Road; to the north, it is bounded by the southern wall of the China Academy of Art building, covering a total area of 6,869 square meters.
