The former residence of Zhao Yicheng is located at No. 69 Changde Road, Heping District. It is a very delicate and charming British-style small building. This two-story house covers just over 100 square meters and consists of eight rooms. Stepping up the stairs, you’ll find a uniquely designed semi-circular doorway. The walls are partially made of exposed brick and partially of cement blocks. The ground floor houses the dining room and living room; the upper floor contains the study and bedroom, with Philippine hardwood flooring inside and an exquisitely crafted medieval fireplace. The backyard is spacious, featuring pathways, flower beds, and a grape trellis, creating an elegant and tranquil environment. This residence is currently a private home and is listed as an immovable cultural relic in Tianjin that has not yet been officially designated as a protected cultural heritage site.
