The Nanyuan Flower Expo Garden scenic area is situated by Ningbo’s Dongqian Lake, known for its “grandeur of Taihu Lake and the charm of West Lake.” It covers 700 acres of lakeside woodland and combines refined garden landscapes with luxury resort accommodations to create an integrated vacation complex that includes flower exhibitions, themed holidays, distinctive cuisine, high-end conferences, outdoor sports, and health & leisure experiences. Themed around “love and flowers, weddings and vacations,” the Nanyuan Flower Expo Garden scenic area has meticulously crafted seasonal garden landscapes at the former site of Dongqian Lake Chai Chang’ao. It consists of Swan Lake, the Four Seasons Flower Valley, the Wooden Chapel, the Nanyuan Art Gallery, and resort hotels. The most captivating attraction is the Four Seasons Flower Valley. Strolling along the winding garden paths, you’ll find daisies and lilies in full bloom, vast fields of purple lavender continuously coming into view, and tall, rare tree species dotting the scenery. The ever-changing views offer a dynamic experience, with layered heights creating a sea of blossoms. It is reported that the Four Seasons Flower Valley spans over 50,000 square meters and gathers more than 100 types of flowers including lilies, roses, lavender, daisies, and climbing roses, along with a variety of precious trees such as podocarpus, yew, and crape myrtle stumps. While cultivating a pleasant ecological environment filled with flowers in every season, the Nanyuan Flower Expo Garden also offers a range of recreational facilities including fishing, lakeside cycling, and swimming pools, with plans to later add amenities such as forest bathing areas, greenhouse flower workshops, and hiking trails.
