Lu Xun Cultural Square
: Lu Xun Cultural Square is located at the intersection of Lu Xun Road, west of Xianheng Hotel in Shaoxing. The square features a sunken design with layered steps, alternating red flowers and green leaves, lush vegetation, and bluestone pavement that highlights the traditional charm of Shaoxing. In the northern part of Lu Xun Cultural Square stands a bronze statue of Lu Xun, facing Lu Xun Road. Its dark copper hue and the resolute expression in the eyes are familiar to many. Through the statue, one can distinctly sense Lu Xun’s wise thinking, firm conviction, and unyielding perseverance. Beside the statue is a stone tablet known as the "Lu Xun Statue Monument Inscription." Transportation: Except for Shaoxing No. 1 Middle School, all Lu Xun-related attractions are located in the city center. It is advised to take a taxi directly, typically within the starting fare of 5 RMB, offering an economical and convenient option. For those taking public transport, you can take bus routes 7, 8, 88, or the tourist sightseeing bus from the train station straight to the location; or take bus 9 or 32 from Shaoxing Coach Terminal and disembark at the Lu Xun Road intersection. Furthermore, a dedicated tourist bus departs from Wushan Square in Hangzhou at 8:20 AM every day.

Lu Xun (September 25, 1881 – October 19, 1936), originally named Zhou Zhangshou and later changed to Zhou Shuren, with the courtesy names Yushan and later Yucai. "Lu Xun" was the pen name he used when publishing "A Madman's Diary" in 1918, and it became his most widely recognized pseudonym. A native of Shaoxing, Zhejiang, he was a renowned writer, thinker, key participant in the May Fourth New Culture Movement, and a founding figure of modern Chinese literature.
