Shaoxing Fushan Park
Shaoxing Fushan Park gets its name from the former location of Shaoxing Prefecture to its east. It is both an urban park and a popular tourist destination. When not serving as a royal palace, Fushan often functioned as the site of the prefectural government. As the main mountain within the ancient city of Shaoxing, it is also known as Wolong Mountain due to its shape resembling a reclining dragon. The mountain is further called Wen Zhong Mountain after Wen Zhong, a minister of the Yue Kingdom, who was buried here. The mountain is dotted with pavilions, towers, ancient bricks, and fragmented stone tablets.
Major attractions include the King Yue Hall and King Yue Terrace, Qingbai Spring, Wen Zhong’s Tomb, cliff inscriptions by Tang and Song Dynasty celebrities, Feiyi Tower, Fengyu Pavilion, and the Revolutionary Martyrs’ Monument.
