Shaoxing City Square

Shaoxing City Square stretches east from Jiefang Road, south along Guangming Road, west along Huanshan Road, and north to Shengli West Road. The Huanshan River runs from Baozhu Bridge through the square from north to south, dividing it into eastern and western sections. The square was planned as a single project but constructed in two phases, covering a total area of 118,000 square meters. Phase one of the square covers an area of 59,600 square meters, with construction starting on May 25, 1999, and completion on September 25, 1999. Phase two began in May 2000 and was completed on May 20, 2001.
