Its main functions include:

The center is located at No. 26 West Renmin Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing, and includes a 2,000-square-meter Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum. This serves as a comprehensive exhibition platform for showcasing the city’s outstanding intangible cultural heritage. The museum was renovated from the original building of the Shaoxing Mass Art Center, featuring a solemn and elegant overall style. With a total investment of about 2.5 million yuan, it officially opened to the public on July 13, 2010. The museum is divided into five functional areas: the exhibition area, performance area, visual display hall, multi-functional exhibition hall, and resource preservation and research area. It showcases the essence of the city’s intangible cultural heritage by selecting the most representative projects and presenting them through various forms such as text, audiovisual materials, photographs, physical objects, and simulated scenes. With an engaging mix of images, audio, physical displays, and interactive exhibitions, the museum is open to the public free of charge.
