Year: Eastern Han Dynasty
The Stone Inscription for Land Purchase in the First Year of the Jianchu Era is located on the eastern slope of Tiao Mountain, 800 meters southwest of Wushi Village, Fusheng Town. The rock is purplish-black in color, measuring 28 meters in length and 3 meters in width, with an irregular shape. The cliff inscription is 1.17 meters high and 1.1 meters wide. It features clerical script carved in intaglio, divided into two vertical columns: the upper column has a single horizontal line directly inscribed with the two characters “大吉” (Great Fortune), with each character measuring 0.40 meters in height and 0.15 meters in width; the lower column consists of 5 lines, each with 4 characters, totaling 20 characters, which read: “Six brothers jointly purchased this mountain land. In the first year of Jianchu (76 AD), they made this burial ground, paying thirty thousand coins.” There is also an inscription by Qing dynasty’s Wu Rongguang nearby. It is the earliest known cliff inscription discovered in Zhejiang Province.
On October 7, 2019, the Stone Inscription for Land Purchase in the First Year of the Jianchu Era was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Wushi Village: Wushi Village is located to the east of Fusheng Town, in an ecologically rich environment adjacent to Shangyu County. It covers an area of 2.27 square kilometers, comprises 2 natural villages, has a total of 436 households and a population of 1,386 people, with 981 mu of arable land. The village currently has 41 Party members and a Party branch. The village committee oversees 10 villager groups and 30 villager representatives. In 2006, the village’s total industrial and agricultural output value was 11.43 million yuan, with over 750,000 yuan in village-level disposable income, and an average per capita rural income of 8,250 yuan. It is a model village for comprehensive well-off new rural construction at the provincial, municipal, and county levels.
