Guangxiang Bridge
Guangxiang Bridge is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Guangxiang Bridge is located on Beihaiqiao Straight Street in Shaoxing city center. Constructed in the first year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1341), it has been repaired multiple times since. The bridge has a single-hole, arc-shaped structure with a clear span of 8.5 meters and an arch height of 4.35 meters. It is of the horseshoe arch type, built using a segmented parallel masonry method. Stone railings line both sides of the bridge, and the tops of the bridge piers are carved with inverted lotus designs. Stone steps are present at both ends. This is one of the few surviving Yuan Dynasty bridges in Zhejiang and holds significant importance for the study of the history of bridge development.

Located at the eastern end of Beihaiqiao Straight Street in the city center. It was named after the nearby former Guangxiang Temple. Originally built in the first year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1341) and renovated in the first year of the Longqing era of the Ming Dynasty (1567). It underwent restoration in 1982. This is a single-hole stone arch bridge oriented from north to south, spanning the Old City River. It has a total length of 30.28 meters, a width of 6.9 meters, and a clear span of 8.5 meters. The arch is built with longitudinal, segmented, parallel-laid stone slabs. Lotus pedestal patterns are engraved on the arch stones, along with inscriptions such as “Namo Amitabha Buddha” and “Reconstructed in the Year of Xinyi during the Zhizheng Era, Guangxiang Bridge.” The bridge is equipped with solid parapet panels and inverted lotus-shaped balusters, with the northern baluster inscribed with the words “Renovated on an Auspicious Day in the First Year of the Longqing Era.”
