China Textile City [1] is located in Keqiao Subdistrict, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The market gathers various types of textile and apparel fabrics, home textiles, and technical textiles, making it currently the world’s largest and most diverse textile distribution center. Established in the 1980s, China Textile City was the first specialized market in China to be officially named with the prefix "China." Today, the market has essentially formed distinct zones: the traditional trading area in the south, the market innovation area in the north, the international trade area in the central section, the raw material hub area in the west, and the logistics support area in the east. The market now covers a built-up area of over 3.2 million square meters, with more than 20,000 storefronts in the traditional area, over 20,000 registered businesses (companies), nearly 5,000 resident international (overseas) buyers, nearly 1,000 overseas representative offices, and sees a quarter of the world’s textile transactions annually. It has established production and sales relationships with nearly half of China’s textile enterprises. The market was the first to implement intellectual property protection, offer modern financial services, and foster new corporate business models focused on technological innovation, brand development, fashion creation, and supply chain integration, achieving notable success.
