Zhejiang Qiaobo Indoor Ski Resort

The ski resort is the only sports facility in Zhejiang that offers year-round skiing. It allows skiing enthusiasts to enjoy the endless fun of the sport no matter the season. The resort features four facilities: a children’s snow play area, a snowboard park, a beginner slope, and intermediate to advanced slopes, meeting the diverse needs of both snowboarders and alpine skiers.

The resort uses internationally advanced artificial snow-making and refrigeration technology. Even in the scorching heat of summer, the indoor temperature remains around minus three degrees Celsius. The beginner slope is 200 meters long and 40 meters wide, with an average gradient of 8%. It features the internationally advanced “magic carpet” tow lift, enabling beginner skiers to safely and conveniently experience the thrill of skiing. The intermediate to advanced slope is 300 meters long and 40 meters wide, with an average gradient of 17%. Riders take a tow lift with telescopic poles to the highest point of the resort, where an exciting rush of adrenaline kicks in—perfect for skiers at an intermediate level or above to showcase their skills. The resort also has a dedicated children’s snow play area designed to let kids freely embrace their playful nature in a snowy wonderland. Snow trail depths range from 60 to 80 centimeters.

The resort can accommodate up to 3,000 visitors per day. With an advanced electronic ticketing system, fair timing methods, and high-quality, attentive service, skiers can enjoy a more personalized experience. The resort also hosts various events such as competitions, performances, and product launches.

Transportation

Directions:

Take bus routes 24, 24 Branch, 28, 22, or 603 and get off at Ke Yan Middle School. Routes 77 and 805 stop at Xin Weizhuang; route 807 stops at Keqiao Neighborhood Committee. K802 goes directly to Qiaobo Snow World at the final stop.

Driving Directions:

1. From downtown Shaoxing: Renmin Middle Road → Zhongxing Middle Road → Zhongxing North Road → National Highway 104 → China Textile City Overpass, then turn onto Kenan Avenue.

2. From Hangzhou: Take the Hang-Yong Expressway toward Shaoxing, exit at Keqiao, then go south on Jinkoqiao Avenue to Kenan Avenue.

3. From Ningbo: Take the Hang-Yong Expressway toward Shaoxing, exit at Keqiao, then go south on Jinkoqiao Avenue to Kenan Avenue.
