Anchang Folk Customs Museum Bank of China
Anchang boasts a long history and rich, diverse folk traditions. The Folk Customs Museum is housed in the "Zouma Lou"-style Baoshu Hall, featuring fifteen exhibition rooms. The "Nansha Haxi" room displays twelve vividly illustrated imperial cotton-weaving charts from the 30th year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign, along with ancient textile tools. The "Blessing" scene and clay figurines from the Anchang Chenghuang Temple Fair — the grandest deity-welcoming festival in both Shanyin and Kuaiji counties — are also on exhibit. Forgotten practices related to production, daily life, rituals, seasonal customs, and social life are all brought to life here. The museum showcases vestiges of the past, offering visitors an authentic and colorful glimpse into traditional customs and a retrospective journey through history and culture.
