Shitan Mountain Park: A Steep Ascent Leading Directly to Daluo Mountain

Location: Situated in Zhuangyuan Subdistrict, Longwan District, it is an extension of the northern side of Daluo Mountain and serves as one of the entrance points for the hiking trails on Daluo Mountain. The park borders Shitan Village to the west, Yanyao Village to the east, and Daluo Mountain Ecological Park to the south.

Overview: The total construction area of the park is approximately 39.4 hectares, including 37.5 hectares of mountainous terrain. The project has received an investment of over 19.3 million yuan and is being carried out in two phases: The first phase mainly includes the construction of about 100 meters of new mountain hiking trails, the refurbishment of around 4,500 meters of existing trails, and the development of supporting facilities such as an entrance plaza and corridors. The second phase focuses on constructing a thematic plaza, a bridge scenic area, wooden platforms, parking lots, and restroom facilities, with an estimated investment of 14.09 million yuan. At present, the first phase has been completed and the park is open for a trial run today; the second phase is expected to be finished by the end of next year.

Highlights: Centered around the theme of "sports," the park is designed as a modern mountain park integrating ecological conservation, physical activity, and leisure. Following the walking paths at the entrance and ascending via the stairways, visitors can reach Daluo Mountain and continue on to destinations such as Yaoxi and Chashan. For those needing rest, the Bihai Pavilion and Huayu Pavilion halfway up the mountain provide ideal spots to take a break.

Driving Directions: For those traveling from downtown Xincheng to Shitan Mountain Park, take Ou Hai Avenue until reaching the Longteng intersection, then make a U-turn back towards the city via the Ou Hai Avenue service road. After passing through the tunnel, the park entrance will be located on the right-hand side.
