Great news: A new airport planned 50 kilometers from Ha Long Bay in Vietnam

According to traveldailymedia,Vietnam intends to build a new airport near the famous attraction Ha Long Bay, which will significantly reduce travel time for visitors.
Recently, authorities in Vietnam’s Quang Ninh Province confirmed that this airport project has been approved. The airport will be located on Van Do Island, 50 kilometers from Ha Long Bay. Spanning approximately 290 acres, it will feature one terminal and one runway, with an annual capacity of 2 million passengers. The construction is expected to cost $3.32 million.
Previously, travelers visiting Ha Long Bay flew into Hanoi’s airport, but the new airport will shorten travel time upon completion.
