Introduction: Binhai–Yucang Mountain is a provincial-level tourist scenic area, covering a total area of approximately 210.5 square kilometers. It is renowned and favored for its unique natural landscapes, including golden coastal beaches, mountain-top stone seas, and ancient kiln villages. The Binhai–Yucang Mountain Scenic Area is divided into two major parts, Binhai and Yucang Mountain, and consists of two independent attractions — Yuliao and Yan Ting, as well as Yulong Lake and Yucang Mountain. There are also three county-level scenic spots: Shi Jutang, Jing Tou, and Yanwo Cave. Together, they form a tourism system centered around Lingxi Town, the county seat of Xinxing, and Longgang Town, known as “China’s first farmers’ city.” This network connects with other regional attractions such as the South and North Yandang Mountains in Wenzhou City and Taimu Mountain in Fuding City, Fujian Province. The scenic area comprises three main components: mountains, river valleys, and flat lakes. The ancient village of Wan, considered a marvel, has been perfectly preserved with workshops, residences, stages, and factories from the budding period of the commodity economy, holding high academic research value. The Yuliao Beach, formed by the Yuliao’ao and Wucheng’ao sandy shores, is famed for its crystal-clear seawater and golden sands, earning the nickname “Golden Seaside Bathing Beach.” Visitors can also see the ancient watchtower and beacon tower ruins built in the early Ming Dynasty, and taste the “World’s Number One Fresh” clam and the sweet, seasonal pomelo. Yan Ting Beach is crescent-shaped, with deep yellow, fine quartz sand that is as sparkling as jade and as soft as silk. Walking on it feels like treading on a velvet carpet, and in summer, it resembles a heavenly scene.

Lingxi Town: Located at the junction of Zhejiang and Fujian within the Ao River basin, Lingxi Town is the southernmost county-level city in Zhejiang Province. It is just 16 kilometers southwest of eastern Fujian and 83 kilometers north of downtown Wenzhou. To the west lies Yucang Mountain, and to the east is the East China Sea. It borders Pingyang, Wencheng, and Taishun counties of Zhejiang, as well as Fuding City in Fujian Province, serving as the southern gateway of Zhejiang. National Highway 104 runs through the town, and three tributaries of the Ao River (Hengyang Branch, Xiaojiang Pond River, and Hushan Inland River) flow through the urban area.
