Canyon View Gallery
Introduction: Also known as Tongling Mountain Gorge, it is located in the Tongling Mountain Forest Farm, which is covered by pristine forests. The Northern Song Dynasty's "Taiping Huanyu Ji" states: "Of the seventy-two blessed lands under heaven, Nantian is one. Amidst the towering mountains, a sudden expanse of flat land appears, lofty and untainted, picturesque beyond compare, scarcely less enchanting than a utopian paradise." A modern poem praises the beauty of the Liulishan Valley: "As if gazing at the Wu Gorge from the Wu Mountains, then moving from the Ling Peak to the Ling Rock. Forests, springs, valleys, and waterfalls form two galleries of paintings; nature’s masterpiece surpasses all earthly scenes." Hence, the gorge is called a 'view gallery.' Walking on the well-built wooden plank ladder along the cliffs and gazing down at the ancient riverbed formed over millennia by geological movements and the wonders of nature, the scenery and its beauty defy description. The Canyon View Gallery is just 4 kilometers from Wencheng County, offering breathtaking views at every step. Major attractions include Shanhang Three Waterfalls, Shilin Flying Waterfall, Three Immortals Rock, Fengling Stone Forest, White Dragon Pool, Triple-tiered Waterfall, Tongtian Gorge, Yin-Yang Waterfall, Sun-Moon Twin Peaks, Golden Ox Pool, Azure Dragon Pool, Sky-reaching Waterfall, Golden Turtle Pool, Guanyin Cliff, Dragon-Locking Valley, and West Heaven Screen.
