Longqi Source Scenic Area is a picturesque tourist destination renowned for its stunning landscape and rich She ethnic minority culture. Located in Xikeng She Ethnic Town, Wencheng County, the area was named Longqi Source by the local She people in honor of their ancestor, Longqi.

Longqi Source Scenic Area is located in the northwestern part of Wencheng County, at the center of the county's circular golden tourism corridor. It borders Shiwu Forest Park and Tongling Mountain National Forest Park to the west, connects to the Liu Ji Hometown Scenic Area to the north, and links with the Baizhang Waterfall Scenic Area to the east. The scenic area spans 266 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 96%, predominantly featuring highly scenic broadleaf forests. The climate here is mild and seasonally distinct — winters are not harsh and summers are not scorching. The air is fresh, and the breeze is cool, making it an ideal destination for leisure and vacation. The area is characterized by undulating verdant peaks, deep serene valleys, and cascading streams that form countless pools and whirlpools. The water is crystal clear, and the sounds of flowing streams blend harmoniously with birdsong. All the springs and streams are fed by mountain-fed freshwater, entirely unpolluted and pure, offering a refreshing taste. There are over 30 scenic spots within the area, among which the 500-meter-long Golden Wall Beach is particularly breathtaking. On its barren golden-rock riverbed—devoid of stones or sand—the force of millennia of flowing water has carved out green pools and potholes, creating a spectacular sight. Photographs capture a shining golden brilliance, truly living up to the name “Golden Wall Beach.”

In addition to its beautiful natural scenery, Longqi Source is also steeped in She ethnic culture. The unique She wedding customs, folk songs, and dances, along with its mysterious and fascinating traditions, offer visitors a refreshing and memorable experience. The scenic area features gently sloped walking paths, making it a suitable attraction for visitors of all ages, including families with children and the elderly.
