Wencheng Gong Ancestral Hall

Wencheng Gong Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Wencheng County.

Wencheng Gong Ancestral Hall is located in Shifenkeng Village, Daxi Township, Wencheng County. Built in the ninth year of the Tongzhi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1870), it faces east and covers a construction area of 432 square meters. The entrance gate is built in the style of a stone memorial archway, while the main hall has five bays, with a post-and-lintel beam frame and a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. Inside, there are seated statues of Liu Ji and his sons Liu Lian and Liu [surname]. Opposite the main hall is a square stage, featuring a caisson ceiling in a five-ring octagonal design. In the central courtyard, there are two pairs of flagpole stones, and wing rooms with three bays each are built on both sides. The main structures largely retain the architectural style of the late Qing Dynasty.
