Shuanggui Qiyun Temple

Shuanggui Qiyun Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Wencheng County.

Qiyun Temple is located in Shuang??bao Village, Shuanggui Township, Wencheng County. Originally built in the third year of the Wanli reign during the Ming Dynasty (1575), it was reconstructed twice during the Qianlong and Guangxu reigns of the Qing Dynasty. Except for some stone column bases and two large iron cauldrons that date back to the Ming Dynasty, the existing structures largely retain the architectural style of the late Qing period. The temple consists of a Diamond Throne Hall and a Mahavira Hall forming a courtyard complex. The Diamond Throne Hall is five bays wide and three bays deep, while the main hall is five bays wide and five bays deep; both are wooden, double-eaved, hip-and-gable roof-style buildings. The total area covers 1,400 square meters. The central bay of the Diamond Throne Hall serves as a stage. It has a square floor plan with sides measuring 4.5 meters.
