Wenzhou Zhongshan Park

Wenzhou Zhongshan Park in Zhejiang Province is located on Gongyuan Road in downtown Wenzhou, covering an area of 4.8 hectares (including 1.52 hectares of water), bordered by Huagai Mountain in the front and Jigu Mountain at the back. The park was built in February 1927, after the Northern Expeditionary Army entered Zhejiang, through fundraising efforts by various sectors of Wenzhou society to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and was completed in October 1930. The park includes attractions such as the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a white deer sculpture, a Sino-Japanese Friendship Cherry Blossom Grove, a cultural corridor, a music pavilion, the Zigzag Bridge, the Jade Belt Bridge, the Cloud-Ascending Bridge, the Bitter Spring Well, cliff inscriptions (including Little Red Cliff, Qi Ru Hong, Yun Gen, Zhen Shi, and others), the Small Stone Gate Cave, the Flying Glow Cave, the Xie Ke Rock, the Pondside Tower, the Ruyi Pavilion, the Lake Center Pavilion, the Crane-Resting Pavilion, the Cloud-Glow Pavilion (now destroyed), the Cloud-Retaining Pavilion, the Red Cliff Pavilion, the Four-Harmony Pavilion, a children's playground and its sculptures, making it a great destination for local residents to exercise and relax.
