Located on Cishan at the southern foot of Haitan Mountain. Ye Shi (1150–1223), courtesy name Zhengze, style name Shuixin, was a renowned statesman, philosopher, and litterateur of the Southern Song Dynasty. He served as Vice Minister of the Ministry of Personnel and was posthumously honored with the title "Wending." He was a leading figure of the Yongjia School and a synthesizer of Yongjia's pragmatic learning. His works include Collected Writings of Shuixin, among others. The tomb was robbed in ancient times, and a blue-glazed funerary epitaph was unearthed (now housed in the Wenzhou Museum). It was renovated in 1952 and destroyed in 1966. The current tomb was rebuilt in 1981, about 30 meters east of the original site. Covering an area of 104 square meters, it faces south and is situated to the north. The tomb features two-tiered platforms, upper and lower. The burial mound is circular, with a diameter of 2.80 meters, built with square stone blocks. In front of the tomb stands a bluestone stele inscribed in intaglio seal script with the seven characters “Tomb of Lord Ye Wending of the Song,” standing 1.4 meters tall.
