The accumulations are mainly concentrated on the mountaintop terrace of Laoshan, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters, with remains also distributed on the slopes. 635 square meters of the mountaintop terrace have been excavated. The western part of the terrace top is the residential area, where contiguous stone foundation building ruins were discovered; the southeastern part is the burial area, where 35 tombs have been cleared. Burial objects are mainly pottery, commonly including cauldrons, tripods, steamers, jars, beans, pots, and stone adzes. A handle-shaped object inlaid with jade pieces, symbolizing power and status, was also found.

The Laoshan Site is the first site with clear cultural accumulations discovered in the Wenzhou area of southern Zhejiang. Its cultural content belongs to the same type as that of the Haocun Site, featuring distinct regional characteristics. It holds significant value for in-depth research on the layout features of Neolithic settlements and social structures in southern Zhejiang.
