Kuixing Pavilion on Cuiwei Mountain is a protected cultural heritage site of Wenzhou City.

Kuixing Pavilion on Cuiwei Mountain is located at the summit on the eastern side of Cuiwei Mountain in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Facing south, it is an octagonal, double-eaved, pyramidal-roofed pavilion. The base of the pavilion is built upon a platform constructed from stacked stone blocks. The floor plan is octagonal, featuring four central columns and eight peripheral columns, all resting on drum-shaped bluestone plinths. Between the central and peripheral columns are double-beam structures, with a horizontal beam running beneath. The column capitals have a single bracket arm supporting the eave purlins, and the corner beams consist of both primary and secondary angle beams. The ceiling between the corridors is fitted with flat panels adorned with painted scenes of traditional opera and floral-bird motifs. Eight peripheral columns support the double-eaved corridor, arranged in an octagonal formation with the central columns. The upper section features a flat ceiling with a framework above, and the ceiling is painted with illustrations of the “Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea.” On the northern side, the second level of the double-eaved structure houses a shrine dedicated to the God of Literature. The outer edge of the second-floor double-eaves is equipped with wooden railings. The roof is covered with green cylindrical tiles, and the brick ridge features eight converging points topped with gourds. This pavilion was originally built in the 40th year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty. Its current three-dimensional structure was reconstructed during the Qing Dynasty. With its classic design and harmonious integration with the surroundings, it is one of the better-preserved examples of its kind among Wenzhou’s extant traditional buildings.
