Huagai Mountain Daguanting Pavilion is a cultural relic protection unit of Wenzhou City.

Huagai Mountain Daguanting Pavilion is located atop Huagai Mountain in Wuma Subdistrict, Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Originally named Jiangshan Yilan Ting (Mountain-Vista Pavilion), it was built here by Xie Lingyun, the Prefect of Yongjia during the Liu Song Dynasty, who also composed the poem "Gazing at the Vast Sea from the Eastern Mountains of the Commandery." It was rebuilt during the Jiajing era (1522–1566) and renamed Xijiang Ting (River-Drinking Pavilion). In the 16th year of the Wanli era (1588), regional inspector Cai Tingchen rebuilt it and renamed it Daguanting (Grand View Pavilion). On the first day of the sixth lunar month in the 13th year of the Kangxi era (1674), Zuj Hongxun, the Wenzhou Regional Commander, defected to the rebellion of Geng Jingzhong against the Qing and killed Chen Danchi, the Wenzhou-Zhejiang Circuit Intendant, and Ma [surname unclear], the Magistrate of Yongjia County, inside the pavilion. During the Yongzheng era (1723–1735) of the Qing Dynasty, regional inspector Rui Fuchuan rebuilt the pavilion, which was later destroyed by a hurricane in the 27th year of the Daoguang era (1847). In the 6th year of the Tongzhi era (1867), Prefect Dai [surname unclear] reconstructed it, and it has been preserved to this day. Huagai Mountain Daguanting Pavilion is the largest ancient pavilion in downtown Wenzhou. It is a traditional hexagonal, hip-and-gable roof style wooden-and-stone structure. The plan is hexagonal with a stone base. The interior floor is compacted with lime-soil mixture, and steps are built on the north and south sides of the base. The pavilion features six outer columns and six inner columns—all outer columns are granite and stand directly on the stone base, with couplets engraved on them. The six inner columns are round wooden posts resting on blue stone bases, corresponding one-to-one with the outer columns, with bracket sets atop the columns. The ceiling is formed by a circular beam structure. The roof is covered with cylindrical tiles in six slopes, topped with a gourd-shaped finial at the apex. On the southwestern side of the pavilion, there is also a stone stele from the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty commemorating the reconstruction of Huagai Mountain Daguanting Pavilion.

This pavilion was registered during the third cultural relics survey of Zhejiang Province in August 2001.
