The Chen Residence on Dingziqiao Lane is a Wenzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Chen Residence on Dingziqiao Lane is located at No. 20, Dingziqiao, Lianchi Street, Lucheng District, dating back to the Republican era.

This residence is located at No. 20, Dingziqiao Lane, Dingziqiao Community, Lianchi Street, Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, near Xinhe Street, and currently serves as the Activity Center for Senior Educators of Lucheng District. It is enclosed by walls all around, with the top of the southern wall featuring a brickwork oval-shaped openwork pattern. The main house faces south and is a two-story brick-and-wood hybrid structure with five bays in width and a hip-and-gable roof. The roof is fitted with dormer windows. The east, south, and north sides are equipped with corridors, featuring square eave pillars with plastered floral patterns on top. The second floor has brickwork railings imitating the shape of a precious vase. On the second-floor balcony along the eastern corridor, near the northern end, there is an octagonal Western-style pavilion built with bricks, featuring quartz sand-rendered cylindrical columns topped with volute motifs. The beams above the columns display an inverted triangular-patterned helmet-like design. The exterior is fitted with brickwork bench-style railings. This residence exhibits a typical blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles from the Republican era.
