Xidong Cheng Family Residence is a Wenzhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Xidong Cheng Family Residence is located in Heping Village, Linjiang Town, Lucheng District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. This building was constructed in the late Qing Dynasty. It faces south and consists of a gatehouse, wing rooms, and a main house, forming a courtyard-style complex. The gatehouse is a single-bay wooden structure with a flush gable roof and lime-plastered brick gables. It has a depth of three bays and features a caisson ceiling. The roof is covered with small green tiles, and the ridges are decorated with molded scrollwork. The surrounding wall is connected to the gatehouse, with a lower section built from block stones and an upper section of brick, remaining relatively intact. The front courtyard wing rooms are a three-bay, two-story wooden structure with a lower eave. The ground floor has a front porch, and the facade is clad in wooden paneling. The northern gable wall features a Guanyin hood-style gable with two Western-style lattice windows, flanked by Corinthian columns, topped with arched window hoods, all finely crafted. The main house is a nine-bay, two-story wooden structure with two side wings. It has a double-eaved flush gable roof. The central bay has a depth of seven bays and ten rafters, using a mixed post-and-lintel and beam-frame construction. Both the ground and upper floors have front and rear porches, each featuring a boat-shaped roof. The second-floor veranda includes a continuous balustrade. The rear wing rooms are a four-bay, two-story wooden structure with flush gable roofs, featuring a lower eave and a front porch with a boat-shaped roof. The roof is covered with small green tiles and has a gray ridge. In the rear courtyard, there is a hexagonal brick-lined well with lime plaster. The well walls are built from circularly stacked block stones, with moss growing inside and clear water.

The Xidong Cheng Family Residence is overall well-preserved, with exquisitely detailed carvings, possessing certain artistic value. In August 2005, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units by the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government.
