The Bao Clan Ancestral Hall in Yuyan is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Era: Ming to Qing Dynasties

Address: Yuyan Village, Sixi Town, Taishun County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

Originally built during the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty, the hall was renovated in the 27th year of the Daoguang reign (1847) in the Qing Dynasty. Facing south and built along a central axis with symmetrical layout, the grand structure is a valuable physical relic for studying ancestral hall architecture in the mountainous regions of southern Zhejiang during the mid-to-late Qing period. The complex consists of a memorial archway, outer gate, main gate, front hall, main hall, sacrificial hall, and lotus pond, covering an area of 3,400 square meters. The entire architectural ensemble remains well-preserved and, due to its hillside location, is uniquely adapted to the terrain.

It was listed as a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit on March 16, 2005, and included in the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units in May 2013.
