Juljiang Stage
The Juljiang Stage is a cultural heritage site protected by Taishun County.
The Juljiang Stage is located in Shangcun, the former Juljiang Township, Taishun County. Built in the mid-Qing Dynasty, it features a single-bay, four-pillar pavilion-style structure, measuring 5 meters in width and 4.5 meters in depth. The stage is elevated, with its floor 1.4 meters above the ground. A wooden screen wall stands at the back of the stage, and symmetrical round archways on both sides connect to the backstage area. The ceiling of the stage is adorned with an eight-shaped caisson ceiling supported by five tiers of brackets. It has a hip-and-gable roof, with cloud-head designs on the hip rafters. The entire stage offers views of performances from three directions, and the overall structure is well-planned.
