Overview and main features: The She Ethnic Ancient Trail in Wencheng County was built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the past, it was an important transportation route for villagers in Xikeng She Ethnic Town and nearby villages in Wencheng County to travel to Jingning County and Taishun County. The trail is surrounded by natural scenery including forests, villages, mountain slopes, and terraced fields, with fresh air and a tranquil environment. The forest vegetation is primarily composed of bamboo, fir, pine, and tea plants.

Dongkeng Town: Located in the southeast of the county, Dongkeng Town is a former revolutionary base area. The town government is stationed in Dongkeng Village, which sits at an elevation of 570 meters and is 22.5 kilometers from the county seat. During the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the Shangli area of Minghe Township; in the Qing Dynasty, it was part of Liudu; in 1931 (the 20th year of the Republic of China), it became a township under the jurisdiction of the First District. In 1990, it was upgraded to a town, and in 1992, it expanded by incorporating the former Baihe Township and Beixi Township. It covers an area of 173.2 square kilometers. To the east, it borders Wencheng County (from the old Changjiangtou Mountain extending to high points 1392 and 1362, and up to the main peak of Jiguanhua Mountain at an elevation of 1178 meters, which marks the boundary between Jingning and Wencheng Counties; an old boundary marker stands at Changjiangtou).
