Liu Ying Martyrs' Cemetery is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit, a classic red tourism destination, a patriotic education base, and a national defense education base.

Liu Ying Martyrs' Cemetery, located at the foot of Matou Mountain in Fangyan Scenic Area—a national-level scenic spot—was first built in 1953, renovated in 1982, and officially named “Liu Ying Martyrs' Cemetery” in 1988, with the name inscribed by Nie Rongzhen, Marshal of the People’s Republic. In 1992, on the 50th anniversary of Liu Ying’s martyrdom, the cemetery was expanded. The current cemetery covers a total area of 33,409 square meters and integrates tombs, a memorial hall, monuments, and pavilions within its grounds.

The cemetery is the site where martyrs Liu Ying and Zhang Guiqing sacrificed their lives. It features the Tomb of Martyr Liu Ying, the Tomb of Martyr Zhang Guiqing, the Joint Tomb of the 13 Martyrs of Yongkang, as well as the site where Liu Ying and Zhang Guiqing were martyred, all established in their memory. Among them, the tombstone of Martyr Liu Ying was inscribed by General Su Yu.

In the northeast corner of the cemetery is the Revolutionary Memorial Hall, covering an area of 1,164.5 square meters with a construction area of 661.75 square meters. Chen Pixian, former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, inscribed the name of the hall. It houses three exhibition rooms, showcasing the life stories of Liu Ying, Zhang Guiqing, and the history of the Communist Party in Yongkang, along with ancillary features such as monuments, corridors, and screen walls.

On the west side of the cemetery stands the Revolutionary Monument, which is 16.8 meters tall. Its upper section features carvings of figures, while the lower part bears the seven large characters “Revolutionary Martyrs Monument.” The back of the monument lists the “Names of the Martyrs,” engraved with the names of 334 fallen heroes.

The Red Army Pavilion is located in the southern part of the cemetery. The pavilion’s name was inscribed by General You Taizhong, while the “Monument to the 3rd Regiment (Division) of the 13th Army of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army” inside was inscribed by Zhang Aiping. The name of the Liu Ying Martyrs’ Memorial Pavilion was inscribed by Tie Ying, former Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party, and General Guo Huaruo wrote the couplet for the pavilion.

Liu Ying Martyrs' Cemetery is a Zhejiang Provincial Patriotic Education Base and a Zhejiang Provincial National Defense Education Base. In September 2005, it was designated as a Zhejiang Classic Red Tourism Destination by the Communist Youth League Zhejiang Provincial Committee and the Zhejiang Provincial Tourism Bureau. On holidays such as Qingming Festival, July 1st (Party Founding Day), and Martyrs' Memorial Day, a continuous stream of cadres and citizens visit to pay their respects.
