Has Taichung’s Rainbow Village popped up in Tainan? At Yongkang Revival Veterans' Cultural Park, a vanished NT$1,000 banknote appears on the wall — and no one’s worried about it being stolen. There are charming designs of hot air balloons, whales, fireworks, snowmen, and gingerbread houses shaped like reindeer, while old red iron doors are painted with cheerful mischief-makers like dragons, owls, and little rabbits. Around the corner is a Net Liao Station, where residents warmly say, “Tired of standing? Feel free to sit down!” It turns out to be a 3D interactive mural — remember to act in it for fun. Hidden within the small red-bricked windows of the old houses are five black cats, even a white cat pretending to be one, as if challenging you to find them. Rainbow flowers, tranquil countryside, mountains, and beaches all seem to have hidden portals — each step leads to a secret wonderland.
