Zhan’ao Ancestral Hall is a clan ancestral building facing south, consisting of three courtyards along with wing rooms and passageways. It covers a total area of 945.6 square meters and features a brick-carved gate tower in the style of four columns and five stories. Renshou Hall, Cixiao Hall, and Yanyi Hall are residential buildings all facing east. Renshou Hall has a layout of two courtyards and two skywells, with wing rooms on both sides, all two stories high, covering a total area of 847 square meters. Cixiao Hall shares the same layout, architectural style, and other features as Renshou Hall, except that its front hall is single-story. Yanyi Hall has an overall square-shaped courtyard layout, covering a total area of 802.7 square meters. The latter three groups of buildings were constructed in different periods of the same dynasty, so their structures are largely similar but each has its own unique style and characteristics.

The four groups of buildings — Zhan’ao Ancestral Hall, Renshou Hall, Cixiao Hall, and Yanyi Hall — are all located in the same village, owned by the same family, and are largely well-preserved with exquisite carvings. They form an important set of Qing Dynasty architecture.
