Ancestral Hall of Shouchang

The Ancestral Hall of Shouchang is a protected cultural heritage site of Zhejiang Province.

The Ancestral Hall of Shouchang is located in Xiangzhu Town, Yongkang City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty and the Republican era.

The Ancestral Hall of Shouchang is situated in Xiangzhu Yi Village and serves as the clan hall of the Shou branch, the third lineage under Wang Xiyi of the Xiangzhu Wang family. The shrine hall was initially constructed during the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty, the main worship hall (second courtyard) is a late Qing architectural structure, and the front façade along with the third courtyard were modified and added during the Republican period. Over the years, the hall faced several threats of demolition but was preserved thanks to the dedicated efforts of the clan members.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Protected Cultural Heritage Sites of Zhejiang Province by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.
