Jianglang Mountain is located within the territory of Jiangshan City at the junction of Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi provinces, 25 kilometers from downtown Jiangshan. It has long been praised as “the most majestic under heaven and the most beautiful in the southeast.” Renowned worldwide for its spectacular and unique “Three Slice Rocks,” it holds the title of “China’s No.1 Danxia Wonder Peak.”

The three stone peaks rise from the earth like bamboo shoots, reaching toward the clouds and the heavens. Legend has it that they were formed when three brothers of the Jiang family climbed to the summit and turned to stone.

The One-Line Sky fissure has been measured as the widest of its kind in China, while Langfeng Tianyou (Sky Tour atop Lang Peak) is hailed as the best scenic spot in Zhejiang. In addition, sights such as the Xiazhe Traveler’s Trail, Cave Rock Bell and Drum, Stone Grand Gate, Immortal Abode Temple Sword Waterfall, Floating Cap Mountain, Jingxing Mountain, Xiali Lake, Xujian Jade Pool, Pen Tip Peak, Conch Peak, Langfeng Fairy Path, Stone Crevice Wonders, Natural Chinese Paintings, Danxia Red Cliffs, Gourmet Food Street, Langfeng Sky Bridge, Goddess Overlooking the River, Moon Lake, Cave Heaven Longevity Star, and Kaiming Zen Temple all showcase their own unique marvels. For thousands of years, numerous distinguished scholars and notable figures have left behind a wealth of travel records and calligraphic works on Jianglang Mountain, making it a place where scenic spots and cultural relics abound.

There is the renowned Jianglang Academy in the southeast, the Xianxia Pass known as the “throat of the eight Min regions,” as well as the Xianxia Academy and Xianxia Ancient Road pioneered by the rebel army of Huang Chao.

There are also the well-preserved ancient Ming and Qing buildings of Niutoushan, and an ancient Song Dynasty porcelain village that maintains its original production methods. The area is also home to thousand-year-old temples, pavilions, cliff inscriptions, ancient pagodas, and forested steles, all exuding great charm. Literary figures such as Zhu Qidao, Bai Juyi, Lu You, Zhu Xi, Xu Xiake, and Yu Dafu have further enriched Jianglang Mountain’s profound cultural heritage.
