Red Qianligang Scenic Area

The Red Qianligang Scenic Area is located in Huiping Township, Qujiang District, Quzhou City, and is a new cultural attraction that integrates “resource conservation, tourism, and patriotic education.” Although the years of war have long passed, countless red stories continue to be passed down orally through the villagers and remain alive to this day. The village has compiled and documented these stories, which are now displayed at the Qujiang Red Qianligang Revolutionary Memorial Hall for future generations to learn from.

Huiping Township: Huiping Township in Qujiang District is located in the northern part of Quzhou City, approximately 66 kilometers from downtown Quzhou. The township covers a total area of 52.36 square kilometers. It borders Shangfang Town to the east, Miaoqian and Tai Zhen townships to the south, and meets Chun’an County to the northwest. It administers 8 administrative villages, 44 natural villages, 1,207 households, and 4,375 residents. In 2004, the per capita income was 2,015 yuan. It ranked among the lower tier of the 26 townships and towns in Qujiang District and was considered a relatively well-known impoverished township. In 2003, it was listed by the province as an underdeveloped township.
