Huangjia Mountain Pagoda is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Site.

Huangjia Mountain Pagoda is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Site. It is situated in Huangjia Mountain Natural Village, Mengjiang Village, Yunxi Township, Qujiang District, and is also known as Mengjia Pagoda. It was listed as a provincial-level cultural heritage site in January 2011. The pagoda was constructed in the first year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1573) and underwent renovation in the thirty-ninth year of Wanli (1611). The Republican-era *Qu County Annals* document the names of its builders: “Constructed by Bingdao Cao Dong and Prefect Han Bangxian. Rebuilt during the Wanli era by Prefect Hong Xianruo.” It is a hexagonal, nine-story brick pagoda in the pavilion style, standing approximately 41.9 meters tall. The base wall is 1.2 meters thick, and the inner chamber has a diameter of 3.29 meters. The base features a Sumeru pedestal design, with a arched doorway on the southwest side of the ground floor that provides access to the interior. The lintel above the door and the southwest face of the second floor both bear inscriptions in regular script: “Twin Pagodas Tower Gracefully” and “Pillar Soaring to the Clouds,” though the characters have become somewhat blurred over time. From the second floor upward, each level has three arched doorways, staggered in orientation. Each tier features corbelled eaves, with two sets of one-dou-three-sheng brackets beneath each eave. The structure remains largely intact, though the finial at the top tilts slightly to the north. Huangjia Mountain Pagoda not only showcases the achievements of ancient Chinese pagoda-building art but also possesses distinctive local characteristics.
