The Zhang Family Ancestral Hall in Jiangcun is located in Nanlong Natural Village, Jiangcun Village, Yunxi Township, Qujiang District. It was designated as a provincial-level cultural heritage site in January 2017. According to the "Zhang Family Genealogy," the ancestral hall was built during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911). Covering a construction area of 294 square meters, the building faces west and has three courtyards and three sections, … The roof features flush gable walls, small grey tiles laid in alternating rows, and white lime brick walls. The wall base is built from yellow sandstone. The central bay of the front hall has a width of three bays, with a five-beam frame and front and rear double steps in the main space, while the side bays use post-and-lintel construction with nine rafters across five columns. The courtyard is paved with granite. The wing rooms are one bay wide. The main hall has a five-beam frame with front and rear double steps (in the main space), middle columns reaching the floor in the side bays, and nine rafters across five columns. A wooden lattice panel connects the middle hall and the rear hall. There are small courtyards on the north and south sides. The rear hall has a width of three bays, with a five-beam frame and front double step and rear single step in the main space, post-and-lintel construction in the side bays, and eight rafters across five columns. This ancestral hall is well-preserved, using large materials and featuring a regular structure. The main hall’s large beam is carved with figures, dragons, and phoenixes, all exquisitely crafted, fully reflecting the architectural style of that particular period. It holds high scientific research and historical reference value.
