The north side of the ground floor… The pagoda had multiple tiers of eaves, with brackets adorning each level. On May 18, 2010, it collapsed due to a natural disaster. In July 2012, Xunfeng Pagoda underwent an in-situ protective restoration. The original base of the pagoda was preserved, while the body was supported by six pillars. Both the height and number of stories were fully restored to their original design.
