Overview and main features: The ancient trail features 1,118 steps, is 2 meters wide, and is paved with bluestone slabs. Along both sides of the trail are clusters of thousand-year-old trees, all over 800 years old. Towering ancient trees include camphor, red maple, osmanthus, sandalwood, and ginkgo, all aged over 800 years, among which there are 23 thousand-year-old red maples and 5 thousand-year-old camphor trees. The winding trail leads all the way to the mountaintop, where the ancient village is located. The houses are well-preserved and consist of traditional dwellings. The village has also developed agritainment leisure tourism, offering forest-based wellness activities for both urban and rural visitors.

Dongping Village: Located at the southern edge of the Qianli Gang Mountain Range in Xiachuan Town, Qujiang District, Dongping Village is 38 km from the city center and sits at an elevation of 518 meters.
