China Bamboo Sea in Anji

China Bamboo Sea in Anji is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Located in Gangkou Township, Anji County, it connects to Tianhuangping, Asia's largest energy storage power station, to the west, lies 58 kilometers south of Hangzhou, 70 kilometers north of Huzhou City, and 220 kilometers from Shanghai. The scenic area spans 6.67 million square meters and is the most famous large moso bamboo demonstration base in Zhejiang Province. It enjoys the reputation of “For Chinese bamboo, look to Zhejiang; for Zhejiang bamboo, look to Anji; for Anji bamboo, look to Gangkou.” The entire scenic area features the vast expanse of moso bamboo as its main attraction, complemented by the mystical “Five Maidens Spring.” Here, you can view the Bamboo King, gaze over the sea of bamboo, play by the bamboo springs, admire bamboo crafts, listen to bamboo music, enjoy bamboo-themed performances, experience bamboo therapy, learn about the bamboo industry, shop for bamboo products, dine on bamboo feasts, stay in bamboo cottages, and even carve your own inscriptions or messages in designated areas, or create your own bamboo handicrafts—all while immersing yourself in the boundless joy of returning to nature.
