China's first Hello Kitty theme park (Hello Kitty Park) was officially completed on November 28 in Anji, Zhejiang,and is expected to officially welcome visitors on January 1, 2015. The Zhejiang Kitty Paradise, besides being the first expansion outside Japan,is also the world's largest Hello Kitty theme park.

Prior to the completion of the Zhejiang Kitty Paradise, Hello Kitty parks were only located in Kyushu and Tokyo, Japan. As the first large-scale outdoor Hello Kitty theme park overseas, the Anji Kitty Paradise covers a larger area than the other two parks and integrates top-level creativity, planning, and design from China, Japan, the United States, and Europe. Over 95% of the amusement facilities have been imported from abroad.
