Ancient buildings on San Tiao Ying

The ancient buildings on San Tiao Ying are located at No. 18 and No. 20, San Tiao Ying, in the southern part of the city. The complex originally had 99-and-a-half rooms, consisting of two courtyards with a sedan-chair hall, main hall, multi-story buildings, an inner garden, and outer firewalls. The owner, Jiang Shoushan, was known as "Jiang the Millionaire" and is mentioned in the historical record Tian Jing Lu. On the eastern exterior wall, there is a stone stele erected in the fourth month of the first year of the Guangxu reign, with content related to the official drainage system. The courtyard is mainly paved with bluestone and square stones. The interiors feature ceilings and wooden floors. The sixth section consists of a two-story building, with a five-bay main hall and a long corridor still intact. The door frames are adorned with exquisite wood carvings. The area measures 8.4 meters by 34.8 meters. This site is a municipal-level cultural heritage conservation unit.
