The Former Residence of Millionaire Jiang is a cultural tourism attraction.

Millionaire was the original name of Jiang Shoushan. Because his fortune was related to donkeys, he was also jokingly called “Donkey Jiang.”

The Former Residence of Millionaire Jiang features blue bricks and black tiles, stretching over a hundred meters, with layers upon layers. The entire compound rises progressively from front to back, with each section higher than the one before. The rear section consists of multi-story buildings, symbolizing the idea of “rising steadily in life.” Commonly known among the people as the “Ninety-Nine and a Half Rooms,” it has very high cultural value, serving as a precious historical and cultural resource and valuable heritage asset. It is an important part of the Confucius Temple’s ten-li Qinhuai scenic area and even of Nanjing as a historic and cultural city. It is now a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Zhongying Community: Zhongying Community: bordered by Madao Street to the north, the Ming city wall of Zhonghua Gate to the south, Gutong Lane to the west, and Qinhuai Foreign Languages School to the east; the total area of the jurisdiction is 0.206 square kilometers.
