Monkey Rock

Guide Up close, Monkey Rock features a conical head covered in many grayish-yellow streaks. On either side of the head are two stone hollows filled with small grass, resembling the fuzzy hairs inside a monkey’s ears. Below the head, a protruding stone horn vividly mimics the monkey’s pointed mouth and slender cheeks. The sculpture is incredibly lifelike and expressive. This Monkey Rock is located at the summit right at the entrance to Flower-Fruit Mountain, resembling the gatekeeper monkey of the Monkey King’s kingdom on Flower-Fruit Mountain, always ready to welcome guests from afar to explore this mythical world. Introduction To the northwest of Flower-Fruit Mountain lies a peak called Monkey Mouth Mountain. Atop the summit stands an upright rock that, from a distance, closely resembles a crouching little monkey — hence the name Monkey Rock.
